Her debut song Here came out in 2015. It received lots of acclaim and was well received by both listeners and critics. The song reached the top 19 of both Billboard Hot 100 in Canada and on the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named the track one of the top Songs of the year. In the same year, she released the album she titled Know It All, the track Scars to Your Beautiful ranked at the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200. It also was one of the original five songs. The track was distinctive due to the fact that many listeners were able to relate to the conversation she conducted with Rap-Up about her struggle in learning to love and accept her. Cara integrates messages about kindness and loving yourself throughout her songs. All of it is a result of her personal experience as she been battling mental health issues as well as insomnia. According to a Reuters' interview, she has described her album as half-tumultuous and half-perfected. Her development was assisted through therapy. She also encourages her fellow singers when they need to ask for assistance. Alessia Cara, a Canadian musician born in Canada on July 11, 1996, was a daughter of Italian parentage. When she was just 10 years old, her parents gifted her a guitar, which was the starting point of her love for music. At the age of 13, she started covering songs she adored on YouTube to prove to her fans that she had talent and was able to make a profession of musician. Sweater Weather is among those covers that led to being discovered at the time by EP Entertainment. This record label gave her the opportunity to create new songs of her own.
