Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor best famous for his role on the popular television show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. Since his time at college Christopher Meloni has always been interested in the acting world. He went to study acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. While he's appeared on both television and films it is his characters on the smaller screen that gave him popularity and much admirers. There is no doubt that he has been able grab audiences' attention by playing characters on both side of the legal system. He played the serial killer role in his first television project and then later played of an NYPD detective. He was repeatedly nominated for both the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. His signature piercing, blue eyes which have been said to make him look handsome. They have helped to portray tough characters in a charming manner. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
